Congratulations to the Happy Couple!

This is late in coming, but I've been swamped. My beautiful "soon-to-be" sister-in-law and her sweetie got married on Saturday. So, raise your virtual glasses to the happy newlyweds! I'm so jealous that they're through with all this wedding crap and are enjoying themselves in French Polynesia! (See my fiance in the background, ruining this fabulous shot?)

M.I.A.

Yeah..that's me! I'm sure no one's been on pins and needles about my blog, but I just wanted to check in to say that I am up to my eyebrows in wedding crap and I've been finding it impossible to post.
On a positive note, my honeymoon is going to be
F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!! So far planned:

Attending an authentic luau.

Horseback ride through a rainforest valley.

Couple's massage in the garden tiki hut.

Zipline

Watch the sunrise on top of Mt. Haleakala and then bike down the mountain to the shore.

Ride a 55 foot glassbottom catamaran for snorkeling to Molokini, an island created by an extinct volcano that rises just above the ocean.

Road to Hana.

Black sand beach.

View active volcano and lava flow at night.

Hike through old lava tubes.

YEeeeeeeeeeeeEEEE...friggin HAW!

That said I'd like to end my post with a word of encouragement and praise for Israeli Prime Minister Sharon. He definitely did the right thing. It was a necessary move.

I'm completely stressed out today. The wedding is coming up pretty quick. Only a month and some change before the big day and I feel like I'm forgetting to do something. I can't think of what, but I'm sure that something important is being overlooked. I feel like throwing up.

I had to get rid of my Lily of the Valley bush because it was infested with red spider mites. I was soo upset, but I had to get rid of it because I couldn't take the chance of it infesting my other plants. It's really depressing, because the little bush was growing well beforehand. Those nasty little buggers already got my dahlias.

Can't think straight.....have to go to the gym soon. Hasta la vista...

Where do all the dead people go?

Millions of people die each day all around the world. (I can't find the actual statistics. Please contact me if you do.) That's a fact, right? Everyday tons and tons of people dying from natural causes, murders, suicides, accidents, car crashes, etc. YET...I never see the amount of graveyards increasing where I live. In fact, I have never seen an increase in the amount of graveyards anywhere I've lived (so far, I've lived in and around five different states). In fact, I only occasionally run across any graveyards for that matter. After living in the Philadelphia area for a year I think I've seen three total graveyards. Obviously there are more somewhere in the area, but few and far between considering the amount of people dying each day...esp. around here with all the shootings downtown. And the graveyards that do exist aren't getting any bigger. Sooooooo...where are they putting all the dead bodies???? Are they burning them all down and everyone's taking their loved ones home in an urn? Are they chiseling out old names off of tombstones and putting on new ones? Are they pulling the ol' Poltergeist movie scam by moving the headstones and not the bodies? Where the hell are they putting all these dead people? Something to think about.
